Welcome to the UC Davis Dermatology web site.  We are dedicated to providing the highest level of care to our patients.  The UC Davis Department of Dermatology takes a comprehensive and thorough approach to patient care. We are a major referral center for Northern California and Nevada. Our group of dermatologists have diverse and unique interests and together we are capable of meeting all your dermatologic needs. The Department also administers the UC Davis Dermatopathology Service to provide diagnosis of patient's skin biopsy specimens in an interactive, academic setting. We are also very proud of our Residency Program, which provides extensive training in all areas of dermatology.

Our program is conducting cutting edge basic and translational dermatology research funded by the NIH, pharmaceutical industry and other funding agencies. In collaboration with the Northern California Veterans Administration, the Department of Dermatology supports the Dermatology Online Journal. The online journal is an open-access, refereed publication intended to meet reference and educational needs of the international  dermatology community since 1995.
