Beating cancer with innovative therapies and personalized care

UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center provides the most advanced methods for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of all types of adult cancers and blood disorders. Our patients have access to leading-edge medicines and treatments, including early-phase clinical trials of new therapies and treatment approaches. Our collaborative approach to cancer care starts with teams of doctors who work together to develop the ideal treatment or combination of treatments for each patient. We have one team devoted to diagnosing and treating breast cancer, another to prostate cancer, a third to lung cancer, and so on. The expertise of these teams and their scientific advances to improve therapies make UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center one of the nation’s top cancer centers.

No matter how many specialists on your health-care team, you will have one UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center oncologist who coordinates your care. This doctor will see you on a regular basis for examinations and to discuss your progress and answer your questions. Your team also includes nurses, radiation therapists, dietitians, social workers and other professionals, all coming together to provide the best possible outcome.
