Ways to give
Students share the results of projects completed through the Community Connections course, which partners students and mentors within regional organizations to design and implement system-improvement projects that address complex health-care issues. While some people allow the frustration of a broken health care system to sideline them, faculty and students here channel that energy into pioneering solutions to bridge the divide between people and policy makers, between sickness and health, between what is and what can be.
In order to develop the solutions needed to impact policy and affect real change, financial investment is critical.
Your partnership furthers the school's understanding of what people want and need to lead healthy lives and design systems to help them accomplish their goals. Your philanthropic investment matters. However you wish to make an impact, gift officers welcome the opportunity to assist you with achieving your philanthropic goals.
Gifts of cash
A gift of cash may be declared as a charitable deduction on your federal income tax return for the year you make the gift—up to 50 percent of your adjusted gross income. You may deduct the excess balance over the next five years.
