Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery
Welcome to the UC Davis Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, a leading referral center for high-risk adult and pediatric cardiothoracic patients. Our specialists combine extensive experience and skill with the most advanced technologies and procedures to provide complete surgical care for complex diseases of the heart, chest, lungs and esophagus. The division is recognized for research-based, multidisciplinary approaches to surgery and for providing expert care in the following three primary areas:
ADULT CARDIOVASCULAR SURGERY
A complete team of vascular and cardiology surgeons skilled in conventional and minimally invasive surgical techniques, including robotic-assisted surgery.
PEDIATRIC CARDIOTHORACIC SURGERY
Leaders in diagnosing and treating infants, children and adolescents with congenital as well as acquired heart defects.
GENERAL THORACIC SURGERY
Offering extensive surgical treatments for non-cardiac benign and malignant diseases of the chest.
