2008 Mandatory Annual Online Training

Welcome to the UC Davis Health System Mandatory Annual Training 2008. To begin please follow the instructions.

  1. Open the HealthStream Learning Center (HLC). Note: (Internet Explorer is the required Web browser; The HLC currently does not work with Macintosh or Linux platforms).

  2. To log in enter your user ID.  Your user ID is the last four digits of your social security number + first letter of your first name + last name. For example: If Jane Smith’s last four digits of her social security number are 5555, her log on would be 5555jsmith. Note: If your last name is more than 10 letters, only use the first 10 letters. Use your legal name as it appears on record with Human Resources. Your password is your birth month and day. For example: if Jane Smith was born March 7, 19xx, her password would be 0307.

  3. Once logged in, click on the Mandatory Annual Training under  My Courses - Assigned Courses.

  4. The Mandatory Annual Training (MAT) consists of content and an exam.

    •  The 2008 MAT content is only available as a PDF document. Content should be reviewed prior to taking the exam.

    • "What's New in 2008" highlights the changes that have occurred over the past year. This content must be reviewed prior to taking the exam.

    • Begin the exam by clicking on exam.  Answer each question and click next rather than using the scroll bar. Once you have answered all questions, at the bottom of the page click on Click Here to Score your Exam. After clicking this link you will be shown your test score. If you score 80% or higher you will have completed MAT. You may re-take this test until you pass. Please be aware that the questions are randomized and every test will have different questions. Please feel free to go back and review the content as much as you like.

  5. Once you have completed the Mandatory Annual Training you may print your certificate of completion. Click My Transcripts, then click View Certificate, you then may open this in a print friendly view.
