Yoga classes for cancer patients and survivors

Come participate in a series of weekly yoga classes, open to all levels of physical ability – from beginners to advanced yoga practitioners. No matter what treatment you are receiving or where you are in survivorship, the poses will be accessible to you. Learn CPR

The American Heart Association Family & Friends CPR course is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card in CPR for their job. This course is ideal for schools and students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life. Infant Car Seat Safety

Learn the importance of car seat safety, how to select the proper seat for your child and the correct way to secure your child in a car seat. The class is free to the public. Asthma/COPD: Easy Breathing

Easy Breathing is a 2 hour class for patients with ongoing lung conditions such as asthma, emphysema or chronic bronchitis. This class is taught by a Registered Nurse. Lecture on "Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice: Implications for Family Medicine"

The Department of Family and Community Medicine presents the 2014 George G. Snively Visiting Lectureship in Family Medicine. The speaker is Denise Rodgers, M.D., vice chancellor of interprofessional programs at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences University. Dr. Rodgers also serves as the Hunterdon Chair in Interprofessional Education at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where she is a professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health.
