Breast imaging
The Breast Imaging Section offers comprehensive imaging and consultative services for diagnosis and follow-up of breast abnormalities. Asymptomatic women can be screened for breast cancer with standard mammography. For diagnosis of breast abnormalities in symptomatic patients or patients having abnormal mammograms, the section offers tailored diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, sonographically guided and stereotactic breast biopsy, as well as localization of occult lesions.
