ABOUT OUR PROGRAM

As a fellow at UC Davis and with the Department of Radiology, you’ll have access to robust clinical, educational, and research resources, with numerous opportunities to establish a foundation of excellence in your future career.

From exposure to a high volume of diverse and complex clinical cases to working and training one-on-one alongside internationally recognized leaders in radiology, our goal is for all fellows to have a rich learning experience that will allow them to become experts and leaders in their field. Additionally, we take pride in our reputation for supporting and promoting physical and mental wellness, and emphasizing the value of work/life balance.

Our fellowship programs are located at the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, the major teaching facility of the UC Davis School of Medicine. UC Davis Medical Center serves the healthcare needs of the Sacramento metropolitan area and is a referral center for patients throughout northern California, Oregon, and Nevada, along with providing level 1 trauma service to the community.

Neha Antil

Neha Antil, M.D.

Neuroradiology

Neha Antil is a board-certified, foreign-trained radiologist who was born and raised in New Delhi, India. She attended medical school, intern year, and residency at VMMC and Safdarjung hospital in New Delhi. She pursued a MSK Radiology fellowship at UZ Brussel, Belgium and shadowed at the Department of Neuroradiology and MSK Radiology, UPENN, Philadelphia, PA. In 2019, she joined Stanford University to perform leading-edge research focusing on targeted contrast enhanced ultrasound in ovarian and pancreatic cancer, O-RADS scoring system, NS-RADS scoring system, MR neurography and liver imaging. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, music, dancing and yoga.

Kaitlin Ford

Kaitlin Ford, M.D.

Breast Imaging

Kaitlin Ford was born and raised in Los Gatos, California. She attended UCLA where she earned her undergraduate degree in Biology with honors and earned her medical degree from Frank H. Netter School of Medicine in Connecticut. She completed her Preliminary Medicine internship at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California and just finished her Diagnostic Radiology residency at UC Davis. In her free time, she enjoys getting outdoors with her family and exploring new places.

James Gullo

James Gullo, M.D.

Abdominal Imaging

James Gullo was born in Chicago and grew up primarily in its western suburbs. He is a 2010 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. He subsequently attended medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. Following medical school, he completed a general surgery internship at the UC Davis Medical Center and a diagnostic radiology residency at Travis Air Force Base where he remained as a staff radiologist for 4 years before beginning fellowship. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, skiing, and trying to golf.

Matthew Stegman

Matthew Stegman, M.D.

Musculoskeletal Imaging

Matthew Stegman was born in Germany and spent many early years traveling in a military family before settling in Northern California. He attended Dominican University of California and earned his undergraduate degree in Biology before attending Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his transitional year at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, and then his radiology residency here at UC Davis. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs, being active outdoors, and exploring food scenes locally and abroad.

Anna West

Anna West, M.D.

Neuroradiology

Anna West earned her undergraduate degree in Allied Medicine, Radiology Technology from The Ohio State University. After working for several years as a radiologic technologist in Ohio and San Diego, she attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. She completed her Preliminary Medicine internship at Froedtert Hospital at the Medical College of Wisconsin and her radiology residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Center. She has also completed an Interventional Radiology fellowship at the Dotter Interventional Institute at Oregon Health and Science University.
