Will my health insurance cover my men’s health assessment?
Men’s health assessments are covered by most insurance plans.
Who will be able to access my assessment?
Men’s Health assessments are strictly confidential. Any questionnaires, documents or notes will be fully protected by law as part of your medical record, and will be viewable only by the members of your health-care team.
Will the Men’s Health physician become my regular physician?
The Men’s Health Program is a partnership with your regular physician, and does not replace your relationship with them. The program is designed to add value and enhance care by providing in-depth focus and education that may not be available within the constraints of regular office visits. You will continue to see your primary care provider for regular, ongoing appointments and checkups.
Do I need to be a UC Davis primary care patient to schedule an assessment?
No, you do not have to be a current UC Davis patient to take advantage of the Men’s Health Program assessments.
