Christy Adams is a registered nurse and the Coordinator for the UC Davis Health System Trauma Prevention Program. With over 20 years of trauma and critical care experience across the age continuum, she has provided valuable contributions to state and national injury prevention groups. Her passion for collaborative injury prevention is evident in her development of numerous community partnerships and in her role as an injury prevention mentor for students of the health care professions. 


Catherine Morris, B.S.

Catherine Morris is the coordinator for the UC Davis Health System Child Passenger Safety Program and an instructor for the Matter of Balance and Stepping On programs. She has over 20 years of experience with car seat safety education and is a lead instructor for the National Child Passenger Certification Training Program. Cathy collaborates with local agencies to implement multicultural car seat programs in the community and serves as a mentor for car seat safety technicians in the region.   

Krystal Anaya

Community Health Program Representative




Krystal Anaya is the Community Health Program Representative for the UC Davis Health System Trauma Prevention Program.  As a former AmeriCorps member, Krystal has extensive experience working with families from diverse social, cultural and economic backgrounds. She is a certified National Child Passenger Safety Technician and holds safety education certifications in infant safe sleep, water safety and bicycle helmet safety. Krystal provides car seat education, helmet safety training and life jacket fittings for both English and Spanish speaking families. She oversees the Kohl’s Buckle Up to Grow Up Helmet and Life jacket Safety Centers throughout Sacramento while also serving as the community liaison for the Trauma Prevention Program.

Juanita Jue

Juanita Jue is a member of the outreach team for our Kohl’s Buckle Up to Grow Up program. Graduated from San Francisco State University in Health Education with an emphasis on Community Health she has worked with culturally diverse communities in both rural and urban settings. Juanita is a bicultural-bilingual Health Educator with experience working in farm labor camp clinics, schools, hospitals and community based organizations.
