POP Award: Bronson Martinez steps up for Campus Commons Clinic

(SACRAMENTO)

This month's Point of Pride (POP) Award was presented to Bronson Martinez, Ambulatory Care administration supervisor. The POP Award recognizes that every day, countless actions of empathy and kindness – large and small – take place across our health system.

A supervisor at the Campus Commons Clinic, Bronson stepped up when the clinic experienced staffing shortages. He helped keep the clinic’s morale high, ensuring it remained a place where patients and staff want to be.

On Monday, Interim Associate Chief Operating Officer David Del Pizzo, Executive Director of Ambulatory Care and Population Health Operations BJ Lagunday, and Director of Ambulatory Operations Brandon Harris presented the POP Award to Bronson.

The Campus Commons Clinic team celebrates colleague Bronson Martinez.

The official nomination follows:

Bronson is a PSR supervisor at the Campus Commons Clinic. The past year has been rough, as our LVN Supervisor (who we ended up losing to cancer several weeks ago) was on leave.

Bronson stepped up and took on additional responsibilities to support our back-office staff so that they continue to feel supported through daily operations. The manager has multiple sites, so was not on site daily. Regardless of the situation, Bronson continues to spread positivity throughout the department and helped fill that void.

Our clinic is a very family-oriented clinic that has gone through many staffing challenges this past year, but Bronson was our rock who kept us going. As a result of this, he was able to ensure that our staff and physicians continue to carry out positive vibes that in turn give our patients the best patient care experience.

Bronson leads with pride and always puts his team and patients first. I cannot think of anyone so deserving of this recognition.

Congratulations to Bronson on his POP Award!
