Our center provides educational opportunities for clinical faculty, highly skilled health care professionals and support personnel of UC Davis Medical Center, as well as primary care providers across the community.

This center incorporates a variety of sophisticated simulation training tools to create a virtual hospital environment for practicing medical procedures. Our versatile center can mimic a single intensive care unit or replicate the flow of patients through the medical center.

Physicians and other health care professionals at UC Davis Health are given educational opportunities that foster excellence in patient care. We support the mission to improve lives and transform care through an expansive range of activities designed for primary care, specialist education and faculty development activities.

Graduate medical education is a priority for UC Davis Health. With increasing emphasis on primary care and managed care, there's no place to receive a graduate medical education as we prepare professionals for the nation’s evolving health care needs.

The schools of health have many exciting research career development opportunities. Our research program, marked by collaboration and partnership, is quickly growing. We have research studies underway in basic science, as well as translational and clinical research.

Our nationally recognized residency and fellowship programs and world-class faculty seek to prepare our residents and fellows to excel. Our programs include hands-on patient experience at our nationally recognized UC Davis Medical Center and in our many ambulatory care settings.

Telemedicine is a viable solution to addressing the health care needs of underserved populations. Our hands-on learning center teaches practitioners, administrators, managers and telemedicine coordinators the skills and knowledge needed to enhance the quality of health care in their communities.
