Description: This fellowship is for 1 year in the diagnosis and clinical management of neuromuscular disorders, and electrodiagnostic medicine. The fellowship is sponsored by the Department of PM&R, and in collaboration with the Department of Neurology at UC Davis. The regional Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic at UC Davis is very active and cares for numerous patients with various neuromuscular disorders. The trainee will have experience in both pediatric and adult population, and be exposed to both inpatient and outpatient care of patients. The trainee will have training in EMG/nerve conduction studies, as well as opportunity to participate in research projects. UC Davis has a long tradition of providing excellent care to patients with various neuromuscular disorders for approximately 30 years, and is proud to be a leader in the field of PM&R to sponsor a Neuromuscular Medicine/EMG Fellowship.
