General Information
The UC Davis Medical Center, along with the UC Davis School of Medicine and the UC Davis Medical Group make up The University of California, Davis, Health System. The UC Davis Health System plays a pivotal role in the delivery of health care to inland Northern California. The medical center, located in Sacramento, is a large, tertiary care teaching hospital that provides the highest level of specialty care in the region.
The UC Davis Medical Center through the Department of Food and Nutrition Services offers a fifty-week general dietetic internship program. Upon satisfactory completion of the internship, interns are eligible to become active members of the American Dietetic Association (ADA) and to sit for the Registration Examination for Dietitians administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
