The UC Davis Medical Center Department of Emergency Medicine offers a one or two year Health Policy Fellowship.  Fellows spend time working at the State capitol on legislative health policy initiatives.  Fellows will learn how health policy is made in California and gain leadership experience in organized medicine. Fellows work part-time as an attending in the emergency department at the UC Davis Medical Center.

Fellows may select a two year fellowship option and obtain either a Masters in Public Health or Master in Clinical Epidemiology through the University of California Davis.  This track will have the opportunity for clinical research through the Division of Research in the Department of Emergency Medicine.

Interested applicants should contact Anna Yap, M.D., Emergency Medicine Health Policy Fellowship Director.  Applicants must have completed an ACGME-approved Emergency Medicine training program.
