Cytopathology: Clinical Services - Request Fine Needle Aspiration
Scheduling for a pathologist to perform the FNA
Out-patients: FNAs will be performed at the Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy Clinic located on the 2cnd floor of UC Davis Cancer Center. The clinic hours are Tuesday and Friday 9-11:30 a.m. Appointments must be scheduled by calling the Cancer Center at extension (916) 734-5959.
In-patients or patients in the Emergency Dept: FNA consultation service is available to perform needle aspiration biopsies at this location. To schedule an FNA during regular laboratory operating hours, please call (916) 734-3031. If FNA consultation is desired outside of regular operating hours, please contact the AP Pathologist or Resident on-call by contacting the hospital operator.
