Research and development

Research and development plays a vital role within the Center for Health and Technology (CHT) and is comprised of three main areas: grants and contracts, publications and collaborative projects. To date, the CHT has been awarded more than $12 million in grant funding and contracts. The research staff of the CHT has expertise in grant writing, research methodology, survey design, statistical analysis and the development of new research proposals.

In addition to grants and research, the CHT actively pursues publication in various telemedicine and medical journals and presents papers at conferences. The CHT frequently receives requests from other UC Davis departments and outside organizations to collaborate on telemedicine research and publications.
