Pediatric Telemedicine
The UC Davis Pediatric Telemedicine Program is internationally recognized for its expertise in clinical services, innovation, education and research. With leaders from the Center for Health and Technology, the UC Davis Children’s Hospital, and the faculty from the UC Davis School of Medicine, the Pediatric Telemedicine Program has provided more than 5,500 telemedicine consultations to children across the State of California. The program has focused on leveraging telemedicine technologies to increase access and improve the quality of care delivered to children living in rural and underserved communities. With the team’s broad depth of expertise in clinical care, information technology, education and research, our team has created numerous high quality and cost-effective models of care that have been replicated throughout the country.
