Support and Activity Groups

Support and activity groups can provide comfort, present information, teach coping skills, help reduce anxiety, and provide a place for people to share common concerns and emotional support.

Sacramento Renal Transplant Program Support Group 
Provides information and support to renal patients, their families and friends, and interested professionals. This group focuses on the social, emotional, physical and medical issues that surround transplantation. Bay Area Association of Kidney Patients (BAAKP)
Patient-run support group includes support-group meetings in the East Bay and Peninsula, as well as online newsletters and forums.
