Research at UC Davis School of Medicine
The UC Davis School of Medicine is part of a comprehensive academic health system that successfully integrates medical research, teaching, patient care and public service missions within a single institutional framework. In this way, the three entities that comprise UC Davis Health System—the medical school, the medical center and the medical group—share a common commitment to discovering and sharing knowledge to improve human health.
The faculty and staff of the School of Medicine lead a wide range of research and research training programs, ranging from translational sciences, to clinical trials of promising new therapies and diagnostics, to studies on health services and policies that impact large populations and communities.
