The UC Davis Fertility Center offers comprehensive services for women and couples who are unable to conceive a child. In addition to performing complete diagnostic testing and state-of-the-art treatment for infertility, physicians offer consultation for female hormone problems, such as absent or irregular menstrual periods, excessive or abnormal hair growth, and inappropriate production of breast milk.

The fertility center is staffed by board-certified reproductive endocrinologists and highly trained nurses and technicians who also assist women who have recurrent miscarriages, endometriosis, pelvic pain, menopause and problems with hormone replacement therapy, as well as those with pre-existing medical conditions that require special contraceptive services.

The UC Davis Fertility Center has one of California's largest infertility testing, treatment and research programs investigating both male and female infertility. The fertility center's reproductive medicine specialists offer all medical and surgical treatments, including microsurgery, laser surgery, and in vitro fertilization.

Genetic counseling and clinical services are provided in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where specialists in reproductive medicine and obstetrics and gynecology perform prenatal care, treat gynecologic cancer, female urinary malfunctions, and problems related to pregnancy and childbirth.
