Announcement of new collaboration with California IVF Fertility Center effective July 1, 2011
UC Davis Fertility Center is pleased to announce our new collaboration with California IVF Fertility Center effective July 1, 2011. This collaboration will allow UC Davis faculty to continue providing the highest quality fertility services for existing and future patients by leveraging the clinical successes and strong community reputation of California IVF with the research expertise and resources of UC Davis Health System.
We value our relationship with our patients and the confidence that they have placed in UC Davis and are committed to minimizing any inconvenience as much as is possible and hope that we can continue to support your specialty care needs. The transition of services has begun. The most notable change will be the transition of all clinical services to California IVF Fertility Center effective July 1, 2011 at 1550 Drew Avenue, Suite 100, Davis, CA. In addition, California IVF also provides services in Sacramento and Roseville locations.

In order to further assist you we’ve prepared a list of frequently asked questions to respond to any questions that you may have:
• When is this transition taking place?
The transition has begun and we are in the process of notifying all of our patients and assisting with transfer of their care to the new facility and medical records as well. All current and future patients would receive clinical services at California IVF Fertility Center after July 1, 2011.
• Who is affected by this transition?
All current clients are being notified by mail of the change and instructed to contact the transition coordinator Stacey at 530-771-0177 to schedule services or call our representative Tonja Sarette at 916-734-4392 if they have any questions.
• Will all patient care be delivered at the Davis location?
Yes all patient care will be provided at the Davis location, however, California IVF also operates two other locations, one in Roseville and one in Sacramento. If you are interested in being seen at these locations please discuss this with the transition coordinator, Stacey at 530-771-0177, as she can provide additional information in regards to services provided at these locations.
• Will I still be considered a UC Davis patient?
For Reproductive and Infertility Services Only – UC Davis patients will be considered California IVF patients. This change does not affect other services such as your primary care physician or other specialty services that you receive from UC Davis Health System.
• Does California IVF accept the same insurances as UC Davis?
In most cases, both UC Davis and California IVF accept the same insurance providers. Since each situation is unique we would like to ask that you contact our transition coordinator, Stacey at 530-771-0177 to obtain specific information in regards to your coverage and options.
• I’m a referring physician, can I still make referrals to California IVF?
Absolutely. UC Davis physicians will be practicing alongside California IVF physicians and we will be operating a full service clinical practice. We encourage all of our physician partners in the community to continue to refer your patients as you’ve done in the past.
