Philosophy of Care

A neonatal intensive care unit admission for an infant can be a stressful time for a family and even feel like a rollar coaster. My goal is to establish and maintain open communication and keep parents engaged during their infant's admission.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Cacho is a neonatologist caring for critically ill and premature infants. Dr. Cacho has an interest in family-centered care, palliative care, and breastfeeding medicine.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Cacho's research focuses on the provision of human milk for critically ill and premature infants. Dr. Cacho conducts research to investigage the protective components in both mother's own milk and donor human milk.
