Our Areas of Priority
  • Quality and Patient Safety

Quality and patient safety, along with enhancing patient and parent satisfaction, are a primary clinical priority for the department. Other clinical priorities include increasing access to high-quality pediatric primary and subspecialty care to all children irrespective of their socioeconomic status. By promoting diversity among providers, we intend to make everyone feel at home during their visit to our clinics and hospital.

  • Training Outstanding Pediatricians and Leaders

We sponsor a highly selective, nationally recognized three-year pediatric residency program, welcoming a cohort of 13 residents each year. With 39 total residents, the program trains pediatricians to be physician leaders in both their communities and profession.

We also offer several pediatric subspecialty fellowships and other unique training opportunities for residents, fellows and medical education students. I invite you to learn more about all our academic program offerings.

What I enjoy most is seeing our residents and fellows achieve great heights. As a parent, nothing gives you more happiness than to see your children succeed.
