Jacqueline C. Stocking is an assistant adjunct professor of internal medicine and vice chair for patient quality and safety.

The peer-reviewed, scientific publication is directed to specialists who treat patients in the intensive care unit and critical care unit, including chest physicians, surgeons, pediatricians, pharmacists, pharmacologists, anesthesiologists, critical care nurses, and other health care professionals.

Critical Care Medicine covers all aspects of acute and emergency care for critically ill or injured patients. Each issue presents critical care practitioners with clinical breakthroughs that lead to better outcomes, the latest news on promising research, and advances in equipment and techniques.

Stocking, an assistant adjunct professor of internal medicine, will be an editorial board member for the highly respected publication. In that role she will provide expert advice on journal content and direction, evaluate papers, and attract new authors and submissions.

“It is an honor and privilege to be joining the editorial board of one of the leading journals for publishing new findings and knowledge in the field of critical care medicine,” Stocking said. “I look forward to my new editorial role and furthering the important work the journal does in fostering critical care research.”
