The Center for Nursing Science’s mission is to promote the advancement of nursing science and practice. In 2017, the Center established its first research agenda in consultation with the Chief Nursing Office, Dean of the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing and Medical Center colleagues to identify research priorities. In 2021, we sought to update the Center for Nursing Science’s research priorities to align with a growing number of PhD-prepared nurses at UC Davis Health.

The Figure below depicts Center for Nursing Science’s research priorities according to PhD-prepared nurses subject matter expertise and methodological skill. If interested in conducting or participating in research in one of these areas, please contact hs-nursescience@ucdavis.edu so we can connect you with our nurse scientists accordingly.
