This facility will transform how UC Davis Health manages the production, inventory, distribution and security of its pharmaceuticals.
This build-to-suit leased space will be located in a nearby business park just a few minutes away from the UC Davis Medical Center. This space will be outfitted with state-of-the-art medication inventory and distribution equipment which will ensure the optimization of pharmaceuticals used for inpatient and outpatient care.
This project will deliver 80,000 square feet of high-security warehouse, office and distribution space serving all of UC Davis Health’s clinical care areas. The project is being delivered in partnership with a local development company (Jackson Properties & Construction) who has long partnered with UC Davis Health to provide warehousing and office facilities offsite. Several state-of-the-art improvements are anticipated: specialized conveyance, packaging, inventory, and distribution, and storage equipment. The facility will also provide a small space to support patients needing infusion care.
