Facilities Design and Construction has responsibility for implementing the UC Davis Medical Center Capital Improvement Program by managing building projects from design through construction. Facilities Design and Construction provides support and services to departments within the UC Davis Medical Center who submit requests to construct new buildings, create architectural designs, and perform renovations/remodeling services. 

Facilities Design and Construction is located in the Facilities Support Services Building at 4800 2nd Avenue, Suite 3010, Sacramento, CA. Our staff consists of directors, administrators, analysts, project managers, inspectors, accountants, architects and engineers. Facilities Planning works closely with Facilities Design and Construction as a precursor to projects before they go into the building phase.
