Facilities Design and Construction (FD&C) has responsibility for implementing the UC Davis Medical Center Capital Improvement Program by managing building projects from design through construction. FD&C provides support and services to departments within the UC Davis Medical Center who submit requests to construct new buildings, create architectural designs, and perform renovations/remodeling services. 

FD&C is located in the Facilities Support Services Building (FSSB) at 4800 2nd Avenue, Suite 3010. The staff that make up FD&C are directors, administrators, analysts, project managers, inspectors, accountants, architects and engineers. Facilities Planning works closely with FD&C as a precursor to projects before they go into the building phase.
