All urologists must complete four years of urology training. But our pediatric urologists complete an extra two years of rigorous fellowship training specifically for pediatric urology. Kidney or urinary stones affect children, too, and the causes are often different than adults. We work closely with the Nephrology Clinic at UC Davis Health to treat kidney stones. Then, we determine the cause and develop a plan to prevent future stones from forming.
