Learn more about the community clinics

Proceeds from the Wine Tasting and Auction Benefit are used to support community health clinics operated by UC Davis medical students. For more than 35 years, UC Davis students have volunteered hundreds of hours a year in clinics in Sacramento's inner-city neighborhoods, delivering free, culturally sensitive health-care services for uninsured, low-income and other underserved populations. Such clinics offer many patients their only access to health care.

These clinics train students in delivering primary-care services while simultaneously improving access to care in underserved communities. The programs have been recognized nationally as model partnerships between an academic medical center and the community.

The clinics are seeking donations of items for both a silent or live auction. Those who have products, services or other items that can be auctioned may e-mail

In advance, general admission tickets are $55 and $30 for students. At the door, the tickets are $60 and $35 for general admission and students, respectively.
