MISSION STATEMENT: Produce outstanding interventional radiologists with procedural and clinical competence to the highest level.

The Interventional Radiology Fellowship Program is designed around a one-year curriculum with the option of extending for a second year where the fellow focuses on research and acts as junior faculty on clinical rotations. There are two first-year interventional fellows who share two services, one fellow on-call and the other fellow being the daytime service fellow.

The on-call fellow schedules, evaluates and follows all patients requiring consultation and procedures from the service. The time service fellow performs daily procedures and organizes the daily schedule. The on-call fellow frequently helps during the day performing procedures, as well. The fellowship is ACGME accredited for one year and can be followed by a second year, by arrangement.

Teaching Responsibilities:

The fellows will be responsible for participating in all conferences, including those specific conferences related to the radiology interventional section, as well as vascular surgery and surgery rounds.
