Radiology fellowship training gives doctors the opportunity to work directly with faculty in their specialized field. Each fellow is given the opportunity to spend elective time at other institutions to better enhance their education.

Subspecialty fellowship programs are offered in:


  1. Completion of four-year residency in the United States or Canada.
  2. California Medical License before starting fellowship. Please visit the California Medical Board Web site or contact them directly for more information: or 916-263-2344.
  3. Requirement for Acceptance of International Medical Graduates at UC Davis for Postgraduate Training.

How to apply

To apply, please submit the following materials to the fellowship coordinator at the address below.

  1. Current CV.
  2. A letter of recommendation from the director of your radiology residency program mailed from the Dean's office directly to our program.
  3. Two additional letters of recommendation from physicians of your choice addressed to the fellowship director.
  4. A letter from the dean of your medical school addressed to the fellowship director.
  5. Medical school transcripts.
  6. Personal Statement
  7. Current photo (to ensure we have the correct applicant with the correct file during rank period).
