Philosophy of Care

I am a strong advocate for youth and adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including promotion of independent living skills and a comprehensive medical evaluation and transition of care to adult healthcare providers. I am fortunate to work with a strong multidisciplinary team in the MIND Institute Transition to Adulthood Clinic, which connects adolescents and young adults with community and educational resources as they transition to independent living and adulthood. I have a unique interest and experience in compassionate care and advance directives for aging adults with developmental disabilities.
