Philosophy of Care

I believe in listening carefully to the patient and their parent, providing the best care possible, making sure everyone understands the plan and followup needs, and referring for specialty care when needed.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Gross is a general pediatrician caring for children with acute illness and injury. He also provides school-based care as the Director of a UC Davis School of Medicine-affiliated student-run clinic, RIVER Mobile Pediatric Clinic. He is also a member of a federal Disaster Medical Assistance Team providing rapid-response medical care in the aftermath of natural disasters, acts of terrorism, disease outbreaks.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Gross' research area was neuroendocrinology, however he is no longer active in research.  He is heavily involved in global health activities and providing care to underserved populations through mobile health clinics.
