Entravision stations raise funds for UC Davis Children's Hospital Aug. 2-4

(SACRAMENTO)

Entravision's 72-hour Radiothon kicks off today, raising funds for Children’s Miracle Network at UC Davis.

Radio stations Hot 103.5 KHHM-FM, Wolf 101.9 KNTY-FM, Jose 104.3, La Tricolor 99.9 and 100.9 and Super Estrella 98.9 are broadcasting a mix of patient stories, facts and interviews to raise awareness of and funds for UC Davis Children’s Hospital, the region's only Children's Miracle Network Hospital.

Hot 103.5 and Wolf 101.9's on-air talent will also broadcast live from the new Children's Surgery Center waiting room on Friday, Aug. 3 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. They will broadcast live alongside ABC10, which will be running its own Children's Miracle Network Mediathon to raise funds on Friday from 4:30 a.m. to 11:35 p.m.

The Radiothon program has been an integral part of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals' fundraising efforts since 1997. Today more than 300 stations participate in Radiothons annually, raising about $50 million each year for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals nationally.

The Radiothon is a cooperative effort among Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Entravision radio stations.

All funds raised locally stay local, supporting life-saving equipment, research, patient care and programs at UC Davis Children’s Hospital.
