Research Interests

My research focuses on a group of G-protein coupled receptors responding to  hormones and neurotransmitters in heart and brain during pathogenesis of heart failure and Alzheimer’s disease, respectively. We use integrative approaches ranging from single molecular study, in vivo manipulation, to patient sample examination to understand physiology and pathophysiology of the receptors, and their implication in drug discovery and clinical therapy.
