Scheduling for a pathologist to perform the FNA
Out-patients: FNAs will be performed at the Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy Clinic located on the 2nd floor of UC Davis Cancer Center. The clinic hours are Monday morning from 9-12. Appointments for existing cancer center patients are scheduled by a patient services representative after an order is placed by the patient’s physician. Patients new to the cancer center are scheduled by the new patient referral service after a referral is placed.
In-patients or patients in the Emergency Department: FNA consultation service is potentially available to perform needle aspiration biopsies at this location, on an as available basis. To schedule an FNA during regular laboratory operating hours, please call 916-734-3031 and leave a message with the patient’s information and your callback number.
