Welcome to Parking & Transportation Services Permit Renewal

Logging into this application will allow you to renew your parking permit which expires June 30, 2018.

Only current Payroll-deducted B, D, Resident B and Motorcycle permits are eligible for online renewal. Carpool, temporary and departmental permits (i.e. Courier, Courtesy, Temporary D, Temporary B, Volunteer) cannot be renewed online.


Changes and Instructions

If you have renewed your permit in the past, you will notice that the renewal process is different than previous years. Parking and Transportation Services has implemented a new permit management system in order to offer expanded online services and virtual permits: No more lost/forgotten permits; your plate is your permit.

Follow the instructions below to renew your permit

BEFORE YOU BEGIN: Take a picture or write down your vehicle license plate(s), then:

  1. Click here to go to our new online services Web Site
  2. Login using your Kerberos username and password
  3. Click Renew Permit icon (at the bottom)
  4. Agree to Parking Terms of Service
  5. Select permit type requested
  6. Select vehicle(s) to link with permit. (Add vehicles as needed)
  7. Click to continue
  8. Click again to agree to payroll deductions
  9. Click
  10. Click to complete renewal

New, license plate-based, permits become effective July 1, 2018. Continue to display your current permit through June 30th, 2018.

What do I do if I need to use my Green Commuter 1-Day Pass at the Davis Campus?

You will be able to print the GC 1-Day pass through the email confirmation receipt. Or online under “View Permit.”

I have more than one vehicle I occasionally drive. Or I have a rental car – what do I do?

You can list up to 3 vehicles, including a temporary replacement vehicle like a rental car.

I have a brand new car that does not yet have a license plate number.

Please call Parking & Transportation (916.734.2687) to provide the VIN.

I already renewed my permit and added an additional vehicle to my account but the license plate is not reflecting. 

All changes/added vehicles must be approved through the Parking and Transportation before it reflects on your account.
