April 6 — School leader shares vision for the future of nursing with surgeons Terri Harvath, executive associate dean for the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis, welcomed a team of about 40 orthopaedic surgeons to the School of Nursing and provided a presentation on the school. The Wilson Box Interurban Club features members who are nominated and elected from the orthopaedic surgeon community in California. Terri presented, “Shaping the Future of Nursing Education and Practice,” where she discussed how the school develops nurses and leaders who are prepared to lead change in health care. She also provided the group of surgeons a tour of Betty Irene Moore Hall. The surgical group meets twice annually, once in Southern California and once in Northern California.
