Doctor of Philosophy

The University of California, Davis, is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education and the U.S. Department of Education. UC Davis WASC accreditation was reaffirmed in June 2014 and remains in effect until June 2024. The Nursing Science and Health-Care Leadership Doctor of Philosophy Degree Program is accredited through the university’s review by the WASC. The UC Davis Office of Graduate Studies also conducts program reviews to determine alignment with accreditation standards. The next Office of Graduate Studies program review is scheduled for the 2016-17 academic year.

M.H.S. — Physician Assistant Studies

The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) granted Accreditation – Continued status to the UC Davis Master of Health Services — Physician Assistant Studies Degree Program sponsored by University of California, Davis. Accreditation-Continued is an accreditation status granted when a currently accredited program complies with the ARC-PA standards.

Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the standards. The approximate date for the next validation review of the program by the ARC-PA is December 2016. The review date is contingent upon continued compliance with the Accreditation Standards and ARC-PA policy.

M.S. — Leadership

The Nursing Science and Health-Care Leadership Master of Science — Leadership Degree Program at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing is accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the standards. The approximate date for the next validation review of the program by CCNE is October 2016.

M.S. — Nurse Practitioner

The Nursing Science and Health-Care Leadership Master of Science — Nurse Practitioner Degree Program at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing is a track of the Master of Science degree listed above and is therefore accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education and the California Board of Registered Nursing.

Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the standards. The approximate date for the next validation review of the program by CCNE is October 2016.
