MSRF: The Medical Student Research Fellowship Program is an opportunity for students to enhance their medical training through direct participation in basic science, clinical investigation, or health care delivery research. This program was developed to provide funding for students interested in gaining academic experience.
SPO: The Scholarly Project Option (SPO) will lead to credit equivalent to completion of a Special Study Module. This option allows a student to engage in focused learning on a topic of research mentor over the course of the final 12 months of medical school.
T32: The T32 program is jointly sponsored by the UCD School of Medicine and the Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC). It provides clinical and translational research training for medical students and pre-doctoral students in the basic sciences using a team science approach.
Independent Study: Students who participate in this program do research independent and/or not affiliated with other research programs.
