New Employee Welcome
Getting employees off to a good start is critical. Effectively familiarizing them with their job responsibilities and environment contributes to high morale and productivity during the initial stages of employment.
This orientation provides an opportunity for new employees to learn about the university, the health system and medical center, and obtain specific information they need to know within their first month of employment. Topics presented in this program include: the UC Benefits Program, UC Davis Health System culture and values, employee support services, common personnel policies, and safety training. This training is mandatory for all new employees of UC Davis Health System.
