  • Provides multiple forums for faculty and trainees alike to develop research ideas, improve their academic rigor, develop a better understanding of the scientific process, and communicate best practices in winning peer-reviewed funding.
  • Initiated a monthly meeting of investigators developing research projects in the musculoskeletal health arena, giving priority to junior investigators to present their ideas to a community of mechanistic and clinical faculty.
  • Dr. Leach is an effective collaborator and mentor for junior faculty.
  • A role model for faculty and trainees alike. He is an ambassador for our program and campus, evidenced by his engagement in the community and how he positively represents UC Davis Health.
