Course description

The Pediatric Care after Resuscitation (PCAR) course is designed specifically for acute care, critical care and perioperative nurses who care for children who have been injured. This 2-day educational offering provides inpatient staff members with the foundational, evidence-based information and critical thinking skills necessary to meet regulatory requirements and provide excellent care to this challenging patient population.

C.E. contact hours

Provider (The Laurelwood Group) approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 15483 for 14.0 contact hours.

Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

Refund policy

Cancellation must be requested fourteen days prior to class to receive a full refund or deposit. A $50 service fee will be charged after this date. If the provider cancels the course a full refund will be provided.

Parking is available in parking lots 14 and 17 on 2nd avenue or lot 25 on 50th Street adjacent to the MIND Institute. Park with a UC Davis parking permit, or purchase a daily permit for $6 in lot 14 or 25.
