The Distance Education Program — a partnership between Continuing Medical Education and the Center for Health and Technology — currently videoconferences:  internal medicine and pediatric grand rounds.

Distance education videoconferencing supports the UC Davis Health System mission of education, research, patient care and community service by expanding the settings of medical education and training to encompass new modes of learning which ultimately improve patient care outcomes.

Continuing Medical Education credit is only available for attending the live regularly scheduled series (grand rounds or RSS). Since July 1, 2011 the lectures captured in video format for internal medicine and pediatric RSS are not eligible for CME credit.
