We also collaborate with our colleagues in other departments and at other University of California campuses to make sure our efforts are shared with the wider health care community.

We're supporting an innovative new clinical trials program to help the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) develop an Alpha Stem Cell Clinic focused on accelerating the therapeutic development and delivery of stem cell therapies. This effort is supported by a nearly $8 million grant that CIRM awarded to University of California, Davis, stem cell researchers in 2017. CIRM award reviewers identified the UC Davis Center for Health and Technology as a distinctive asset for the Alpha network’s goal of reaching more potential clinical participants and being able to monitor their progress remotely via telehealth.
