Moon Chen © UC RegentsThe Population Sciences and Health Disparities Program’s goal is to initiate, foster, and conduct population-based and intervention-based research into cancer prevention, initiation, progression, and survival, with an emphasis on populations facing disparities in incidence of particular cancers, morbidity, or mortality. 

Brad Pollock © UC RegentsIn retrospective population studies, the program builds partnerships with the California Cancer Registry. 

In prevention, the program is involved in the development and delivery of primary prevention or risk-reduction efforts such as screening.
