Class description
If you want to know what to do in a life-threatening emergency, the American Heart Association course in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Family and Friends can help you. With the knowledge and skills you will learn in this course, you may save the life of a loved one, a friend or a neighbor.
This course includes
- Introduction to life-threatening emergencies and the chain of survival for all ages.
- Adult warning signs of heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest and choking.
- CPR and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction for adult victims.
- Infant/child prevention of sudden infant death syndrome, injuries, and choking.
- CPR and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction for infant and child victims.
