Telehealth: A national model of excellence
For nearly 20 years, the UC Davis Center for Health and Technology has demonstrated the power of telehealth in addressing a wide variety of health-care needs in California, positioning the state as a national leader in the field. The diverse program offers more than 30 clinical specialties for inpatient and outpatient care, distance education, video-interpreting, services for families (FamilyLink) and disaster preparedness. Since its inception, the program has provided more than 25,000 video consultations at 100 locations around the state.
