Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis conducts student information session

The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing will conduct a free information session at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, for students interested in the Master of Science and the Doctor of Philosophy degree programs.
Participants will join current faculty, staff and current students to learn firsthand about the Nursing Science and Health-Care Leadership Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy Degree Programs.
Information about the school's innovative graduate programs, the distinctive curriculum and the admission process will be provided.
Additionally, prospective students can learn more about the generous financial support provided to all admitted fall 2013 students.
Applications open October 2012 for Nursing Science and Health-Care Leadership Degree Programs. A step-by-step guide to apply for each degree is available on the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing website in the How-to-Apply section at nursing.ucdavis.edu.
The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing plans to accept eight doctoral students and 25 master's degree students for fall 2013 admission. Applications received by Jan. 15, 2013, are considered for priority review with acceptances announced in March. The final UC Davis application deadline is May 31, 2013, with acceptances announced mid-July. All admission slots are expected to fill during the priority review period and applications received between Jan. 15 and May 31 are reviewed on a space-available basis only.
