Christy Pifer joined the UC Davis Health System in March 2006. She is a senior clinical research coordinator and a member of the UC Davis Vascular Center team. She oversees the development and conduct of clinical research projects within the Vascular Center, as well as, manages several multi-center clinical trials of new therapies for vascular disease.

Pifer graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 1999 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. Over the past eight years, she has coordinated clinical trials in the areas of cardiology, pulmonary medicine, gastroenterology, women's health, and urology. She is currently certified as a clinical research coordinator by the Society of Clinical Research Professionals.
